Haven is a wealth-tracking and financial-independence planning app. These terms are short because the app is simple: your data stays with you, and Haven gives you no financial advice.
Haven is a tool for recording your own financial information and running calculations over it. Nothing Haven displays — including net-worth figures, portfolio gains, capital-gains and financial-year summaries, currency conversions, financial-independence projections (Coast/Lean/Work Optional/Chubby/Fat FI), and anything written by the on-device AI assistant — is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. Projections are mathematical extrapolations of the numbers and assumptions you enter; real returns, tax rules, and exchange rates will differ.
All calculations depend on the accuracy and completeness of the data you enter (Haven has no bank feeds; prices are entered by you, imported via CSV, or — only for crypto and gold, only when you tap "Fetch Live" — fetched on request). In particular, capital-gains and financial-year disposal summaries are estimates — verify them with your accountant or tax adviser before using them in a tax return or any financial decision.
Haven stores your data on your device, syncing automatically to your own private iCloud if you're signed into iCloud on that device — see the Privacy Policy. Because we have no copy of your data, we cannot recover it for you. Please use the built-in CSV backup (Settings → Export Full Backup) regularly.
Haven is distributed exclusively through the Apple App Store. Purchases, refunds, and billing are handled by Apple under Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions and the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which governs your license to use the app.
Haven is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app or its calculations. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded by agreement.
If these terms change materially, the "Last updated" date above will change with them. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
